Today at CHI 2021 (taking place virtually due to COVID-19), Qiaosi Wang is presenting Towards Mutual Theory of Mind in Human-AI Interaction: How Language Reflects What Students Perceive About a Virtual Teaching Assistant. The paper was co-authored by Qiaosi Wang, Koustuv Saha, Eric Gregori, David Joyner and Ashok Goel, and examines how students develop their understanding of the role of a virtual teaching assistant over a full semester of interaction.
